Ms. Winkelman joined the Life Sciences Department at SKC in 2021. She has a B.S. in Wildlife Biology and an M.A. in Education, both from the University of Montana. Now, she is working towards her Ph.D. in Ecology and Environmental Science from Montana State University in partnership with SKC. Prior to working at SKC, Rennie worked as a data technician for an aquatic ecology lab. She also worked for the Watershed Education Network as an instructor and curriculum developer. Working at SKC combines her passions for science, research, and teaching. Rennie’s research interests are in aquatic environmental health and environmental chemistry, and she is in the process of developing novel research projects.
